That’s right, two years! I can’t quite believe it myself, two years ago this month (February 26 2010 the first post went up) and frankly speaking, it’s been a struggle. I did not realise just how difficult it would be, but over the last few months I’ve been doing some poking around, visited a lot of other blogs and got some ideas of what I should do to improve things here.
In the process I discovered Sue Bryce’s website (a few weeks back) and her blog – In Bed with Sue (a racy title for a blog, but easy to remember) apparently she arrived at the name after noticing she wrote the blog posts whilst in bed. Sue is a fantastic photographer and a great business woman (she’s a New Zealander based in Australia). Her stories (discovered through reading her blog over many visits) about her journey through life and how she got to where she is are very intriguing, I recommend that you find the time to visit her blog; www.inbedwithsue.com – there are so many wonderful things to discover and learn from her and about her.
Now back to wanting to improve my blog – I discovered the following on Sue’s blog, as it happens we both started our blogs the same year but whilst I’ve struggled with mine she has managed to make hers quite a success and there are lessons here for all, on how she did it. The following formula is what she discovered and adapted – to great success.

I am not ashamed to copy her structure as shown above, and have decided to adopt it myself with the hope that it will help me achieve the things I want to with this blog.
